Everything you need to get started with Pannely.

Quick Start

    Download Pannely

    Download the app for macOS or Windows from the home page.

    Add your API keys

    Open Pannely → Settings → API Keys and paste your keys from each provider.

  3. 3

    Start in Editor

    Open the Writing Workspace or create an Editor, an AI Chat, and a Prompt Library panel.

  4. 4

    Send selected text to AI

    Highlight a passage in Editor, send it to a role chat, compare answers, and bring the best version back into your draft.

  5. 5

    Sign in when you need Pro

    Buy first or sign in later to activate or restore Pro on any device. No password needed.

Getting API Keys

Pannely uses your own API keys — you pay the AI providers directly at their standard rates. Here's where to get them:

After getting your key, paste it in Pannely → Settings → API Keys.

FAQ

Is my data sent to Pannely servers?

No. Your conversations and API keys are stored locally on your device. Pannely's servers only handle account authentication and Pro purchase verification.

Which AI providers are supported?

OpenAI (GPT-4o, o1), Anthropic (Claude 3.5 Sonnet, Opus), Google (Gemini 1.5 Pro), and more. New providers are added regularly.

Do I need a paid plan to use Pannely?

No. The free version includes AI Chat, Editor, Prompt Library, all supported AI providers, Broadcast Prompt, built-in prompt templates, Read URL, unlimited history, image upload, up to 4 panels, up to 2 AI Chat panels, and up to 2 anchored follow-ups per conversation. Pro ($29 one-time) unlocks unlimited panels and AI Chat panels, unlimited anchored follow-ups, Prompt Library advanced features, custom roles, custom workspace templates, unlimited drafts, export, and Editor AI assist.

Is Pro a subscription?

No. Pro is a one-time purchase of $29. You pay once and keep all features forever, including future updates. No recurring charges.

How does the 14-day refund work?

If you're not happy within 14 days of your first purchase, email support@pannely.com and we'll refund you — no questions asked.

Can I use Pannely on multiple machines?

Yes. Your Pro purchase is tied to your account, not a device. Sign in on any machine to activate Pro.

Where are my API keys stored?

API keys are stored in your operating system's encrypted keychain (macOS Keychain / Windows Credential Manager). They never leave your device.
